Stress & Relaxation
Stress is the body's reaction to feeling threatened or under pressure. It's very common and can be motivating to help us achieve things in our daily life, and can help us meet the demands of home, work and family life. However, prolonged exposure to stress can be detrimental to our mental and physical health.
We may experience short-term physical effects such as headaches, insomnia, upset stomach to name but a few, and psychological effects such as panic attacks, anxiety and depression. In the long term, these can lead to further serious issues.
Learning to manage stress is essential in this fast-paced world in which we live.
The Stress & Relaxation programme consist of one 90-minute session followed by two further sessions of 60-minutes each, however this can be tailored to individuals' requirements.
Sessions will include tools to help manage stress, breathing techniques and self-hypnosis for you to use at home.
Group Relaxation sessions are offered to corporate clients and can be especially beneficial at the start of the day or as a lunchtime session.
